Model 70 I ordered was delivered by Bud's in a timely manner with shipping info and updates. After replacing the factory trigger and bedding the action, the rifle shot .8" with factory ammo during barrel break in. This rifle is going to be a shooter with the right handloads! What new can you say...
What new can you say about the Model 70 that hasn't been said before. Except it's almost too pretty that I hate taking it outside where it can get dirty. Less float in the barrel than I like, but nothing going that will affect accuracy. Two $20 bills fit nicely back to the recoil lug. Factory pillars would be nice, but I doubt accuracy will suffer long term due to the glass bedding. But make no mistake. This is a hunting rifle. And with a VX-3 sitting on top, a darn sharp one.
