This is the third...
This is the third Model 70 I have purchased so I am very familiar with them as well as very pleased with there quality and performance. Model 70's fit me very well size wise and this rifle just like my others was very accurate at the range and functioned properly as designed. It's nice to see that Winchester rifles are still made well with great fit and finish and just as importantly they are accurate and reliable. I look forward to practicing with it and using it this upcoming deer season.

I've always wanted a...
I've always wanted a Model 70 Sporter, so finally bit the bullet.The fit and finish are nice. Took it apart to clean it and to give it some clean oil, the quality of the machining and pillar bedding are excellent. It has a satin finish which is a little dull for me so a light buffing of Birchwood Casey stock sheen and conditioner and finish with Casey gun wax gives it a soft sheen that suits me just fine. It's always a pleasure to deal with Buds, they always give you step by step detail progress of your orders. Thank you.
