I paid a premium price...
I paid a premium price for what should be one of Winchesters more accurate rifles , I used the best Scope 1200.00 with premium base and rings . After shooting several brands and weights of bullets From a bench rest the best I could get was 4.5 To 5 inch groups. I put the crown of the barrel under magnification and saw deformities and a crack ( right image ) Sent it back to Winchester ( what a nightmare) After many weeks the picture on the left is what I got Back ( scratches and gouges ) not sure what they Did but it now shoots 1.5 to 2 inches at 100 yards. This is not the 500 yard rifle I was expecting. The only reason for one star instead of zero is It looks good . Stay away from the new Winchester company !!!!
