The Winchester Model 70 Super Grade Stainless combines classic hunting-rifle styling with durable stainless metalwork and proven bolt-action performance. Its finely checkered black walnut stock features a Shadowline cheekpiece that provides a comfortable cheek weld and helps align the eye with a mounted scope. A one-piece steel bottom metal assembly reinforces the stock and action, while the controlled-round-feed design and three-position safety provide dependable operation in the field. The 24-inch barrel is chambered in .30-06 Springfield and feeds from a 5+1-round internal magazine with a hinged floorplate. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounts, and the M.O.A. Trigger System offers a clean, user-adjustable trigger pull.

First as always Bud's was excellent. As for the rifle, absolutely outstanding. Rivals some of my custom jobs that cost much more. Sub moa with multiple loads thus far. Fit, finish and attention to detail are outstanding for a factory production rifle. Balance is perfect. The combination of stainless steel in the M70 Super grade with a grade IV walnut stock is the best melding of old and new, classic. Mine is in .30-06 and I couldn't be happier with it.
