Product Overview
The Winchester Xpert Strata SR is a compact bolt-action rimfire rifle chambered in 17 WSM. It combines a durable steel receiver with a precision button-rifled 16.5-inch barrel, target crown, Bentz-style chamber, and a 1/2x28 threaded muzzle protected by a knurled thread protector. The molded polymer stock features a TrueTimber Strata finish, molded-in sling eyelets, and a Picatinny accessory rail at the fore-end tip. The receiver is drilled and tapped for optic mounts, and a two-piece scope base is included. Its three-lever adjustable Rimfire M.O.A. Trigger and extended bolt handle support precise, controlled shooting.

Got this to carry...
Got this to carry around the farm in the truck for armadillos. Short, light, easy to get out the window. The trigger is TERRIBLE! Esentially non-adjustable regardless of what they say. That said, sort of remodeled the trigger and now have it at about 30 ounces, dead crisp. That tok a lot of work! Not like my 6 oz triggers on the crow rifles, but at close to 2 lbs, very accecptable for my intended purpose. Accuracy.....at my 100 yd range off the bench, with a 4.5x14 leupold, I was consistently shooting 1 inch group, and that was in some relativly gusty wind conditions. Will be intersting to see what it does in calm conditions for sure. The rifle is VERY light and that makes it more difficult to hold solid for group testing, but thats what it is. I think it will be most satisfactory for my purposes. Frankly, I am amazed at the accuracy considering just how cheap this thing is. Knowing what I know now, I would not hesitate to buy it again. It's not a Tikka, CZ, or Begara, but it's easily worth the money.
