FIRST OF ALL…Bud's was...
FIRST OF ALL…Bud's was GREAT!!…Shipping was fast…Gun is decent but NOT the Winchester of yesterday…The plastic bolt shroud is junk makes the gun look cheap, bad way to save $50 IMO.I couldn't live with it. I had to order a steel aftermarket one for $50. The fact the after market one exists tells me other people are unhappy with it as well….The synthetic stock is thin and has a "Hollow cheap feel" to it…The magazine catch is a cheap plastic tab like a toy, I definitely don't see it lasting the life of the rifle…All of this is not the end of the world as long as the rifle shoots accurately and functions safely, We'll see what happens but at $700 if I could do it over again I would research what is out there in the $1000 range…
