The Windham Weaponry VEX-SS is a semi-automatic rifle chambered for .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO. Its direct gas impingement system and 20-inch fluted 416R stainless steel barrel provide a practical combination of reliable operation, heat management, and accuracy potential for range use and varmint applications. The rifle features a forged 7075-T6 aircraft aluminum flat-top receiver, an aluminum trigger guard, a hardcoat black anodized receiver treatment, and a TrueTimber camouflage finish. A manual safety lever with indicator markings on both sides provides clear status visibility, while the flat-top receiver supports the installation of an optic. The rifle includes a 5-round magazine and accepts standard AR-pattern magazines.
