Product Overview
The WMD Guns Lightweight Beast is a 5.56 NATO semi-automatic rifle built around NiB-X coated 7075-T6 aluminum upper and lower receivers. Its 16-inch special lightweight chrome moly vanadium steel barrel uses a 1:8 twist, 1/2x28 threads, a carbine-length direct-impingement gas system, and a low-profile gas block. A free-float NiB-X coated aluminum handguard supports configurable Picatinny rail sections, while the optic-ready receiver allows users to select an aiming system suited to their needs. The six-position adjustable synthetic stock provides a flexible length of pull, and the package includes two 30-round magazines and a Drago Tactical bag.

This is my first and...
This is my first and will be my only AR15, so I sought much advice before buying. The appearance, weight and help I received from the manufacturer sealed the deal. So far, I'm very impressed, but since it isn't even broken in yet, nor have I mounted the scope, my review is limited. The fit and finish appear to be flawless; it was actually difficult to read the serial number because of the finish coating. The trigger pull is smooth and lighter than mil spec, but don't know the actual pull weight. I bought it for targets only, not hunting. I'm building a rifle range on my property to accommodate it, and expect it to be very accurate. Please note that the barrel is 1:7 twist, not 1:8 as said in the product description. The manufacturer will update the description.
