The YHM YHM-8820-7 Black Diamond Specter XL is a semi-automatic rifle chambered in .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO. It features a 16-inch, 1:7-twist 4140 steel barrel with diamond fluting that helps reduce weight, improve rigidity, and promote cooling during sustained use. The rifle-length Specter XL Diamond handguard bridges the upper receiver and handguard area while providing a lightweight, rigid mounting platform. A Phantom 5C2 flash hider and compensator, low-profile gas block, adjustable commercial carbine stock, and flip-up front and rear sights complete the configuration. The rifle uses black 7075-T6 aluminum receivers and weighs 6.9 pounds.
