The Zastava Arms ZPAP M70 Hogue Handguard is a new-production Serbian-pattern AK rifle chambered in 7.62x39mm. Its stamped 1.5mm steel receiver and bulged front trunnion provide a robust foundation, while the cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined barrel is designed for durability during sustained use. A corrosion-resistant hard-nickel-moly steel bolt carrier group, matched fire control group, fixed stock, and traditional AK controls complete the rifle. The rifle includes one 30-round magazine.

I researched a lot of AKs before I settled on the Zastava. This weapon is extremely well built and although I have only been able to put 10 rounds through it its a blast to shoot! Very rugged modern...
Very rugged modern feeling AK I bought this because I wanted to upgrade from my WASR and I'm very satisfied with the results the Zastava is a beast It's more heavy than your normal AK but still feels like you could carry it around if you had to it's very comfortable. Recoil is light. I do not regret this purchase at all great gun.

I have only had the...
I have only had the chance to shoot this gun once at the range… was a little disappointed at the inaccuracy. At 100 yards, I completely missed my target! At 25 yards, I saw it was shooting quite low and to the left. I may have to purchase tools to adjust the "fixed" sights. I have a Russian SVT-40 that is more accurate. Time will tell if I can get more accuracy out of this rifle. Otherwise, as far as the fit and mechanical function, I have no problem with it.
