The ZEV Technologies CORE 16 is a California-compliant featureless rifle built around forged 7075-T6 aluminum upper and lower receivers with a black Type III Class 2 hardcoat anodized finish. Its match-grade 16.5-inch barrel is chambered in 5.56 NATO, uses a 1:7 twist and mid-length gas system, and is paired with a low-profile fixed gas block for reliable field and range performance. The ZEV Wedge Lock handguard provides a continuous top rail and M-LOK mounting positions, while the H3 carbine buffer helps reduce port pressure and recoil impulse. A chrome-lined, manganese-phosphate-finished bolt carrier group, fixed stock, backfin grip, muzzle brake, and one 10-round Magpul PMAG complete the featureless configuration.
