The Benelli Ethos Field is a refined semi-automatic 12 Gauge hunting shotgun built around Benelli's reliable Inertia Driven system. Its AA-grade satin walnut stock and engraved receiver give it an elegant field-ready appearance, while the Progressive Comfort recoil reduction system helps make repeated shooting more comfortable. The 28-inch barrel is chambered for 3-inch shotshells and is supplied with five choke options: Cylinder, Improved Cylinder, Modified, Improved Modified, and Full. A red-bar front sight and metal bead mid-sight provide a familiar sight picture for hunting. The two-part carrier latch supports quick, easy loading, and the shotgun's improved ergonomics promote confident handling in the field.

I was torn between 3...
I was torn between 3 shotguns. A Browning, a Beretta, and the Benelli. After long reviews I settled on the Benelli Ethos and wasn't disappointed. It's light weight, the action is smooth. the trigger pull is light, the recoil is minimal and it is quality built. Another great feature is, I'm 6'2" tall with a 36" arm length, and when I shouldered it and looked down the barrel it was a natural fit. It seems as though this shotgun was built just for me.
