Magnificent. The...
Magnificent. The Benelli inertia guns have the slickest actions of any shotgun I have known. Recoil is modest using 3" loads with this ultralight. Given the lack of mass, I was worried the bead would jump around during the effortless swing. Not to worry tho, the balance is such that it tracks beautifully given the weight. Spot on point of impact. No holes in a full choke pattern of 3" #6 Fiocchi. Just took 3 squirrels with 3 rounds at 20-35 yards using said load. Easily the best performing 20 gauge shotgun I have owned. Length of pull might be a bit much for smaller statured folks. As a young man, I hunted with beautiful Remington, Ithaca and Browning pumps & autos because that was what we knew. Nowadays, you'll see me carrying one of several Super 90/M2 models. The word frugal is in my bio, but Benelli auto loaders are worth the expense. Shotguns are made in Italy.
