Having used Win. pumps...
Having used Win. pumps and Rem 1100 shotguns for more years than I want to admit, I was hesitant to spend this much money on something those other shotguns could do too. But, I'm glad I did. This is a beautiful shotgun that fits me perfectly (5'10", 180 lbs), seemingly points naturally, and balances very well. Lockup is tight and metalwork seems very solid. The wood is a bit plain for the expense here, and wood to metal fit is not like that on shotguns at the club (but that cost lots more). First outing with this new gun I broke 73 our of 75 at trap: it seemed to point itself. I'll do better next time. I bought it primarily to shoot clay pigeons, but I like it so much I might use it for late season pheasants. If you are considering it, I recommend taking the plunge. I wish I had years ago. Buds service was also first rate, like usual.
