I've had this shotgun...
I've had this shotgun a bit over a week and I've fired a bit over a box of shells through it in three outings . It's a nice looking gun; the usual Browning high polish on the metal. The metal to metal and wood to metal fit is very good. The wood is very nice with good figure and a good finish. The felt recoil is very pleasant. I've patterned it with all three included chokes and different shot size. It throws good patterns. It is a long gun at a measured 49.5 inches. It's too long for most gun cases but Allen makes a 54" case that works well. The receiver is long which makes the gun long. The receiver is aluminum which keeps the weight down to a bit less than the stated 6 lbs 13 oz for the 28" barrel. I like the easy unloading feature. The fast load doesn't work as reliably as I would like. Hopefully this will improve with break in and as I become more familiar with it. Loading the magazine is easy and fully reliable. Firing is reliable. The ability to empty the chamber without unloading the magazine is a very good feature. If I could give it a 4.5 I would but with out that option, I'll give it a 5.

I couldn't be more pleased with the new a5 the gun is super lightweight and it has never had a failure to eject even on super light loads the only thing is I find that the barrel gets way too hot fast but other then that the gun is absolutely stunning
