I have gone through half a case of shells with this O/U so far and have been delighted with the fit, finish, function, and feel. Superlight Feather could not be a more accurate moniker for this firearm. I have been an avid upland bird hunter for over twenty years, and began with a Remington 1100 lt20. After an illustrious career as a professional working/student.... I was finally free of student loans and decided, after much handling and research, to fulfill my youthful dreams of a purpose double on my grouse themed walks with my French Pointer. This gun is not a free swinging long barreled skeet gun. I subscribe to the point and shoot philosophy of Ruff hunting. However, on it's first sporting clays outing, we managed to break a fairly respectable 83/100. The misses were my own fault as the Citori shoulders with speed and has a natural sight plane for my 6' frame. I would recommend this O/U to anyone who walks far and shoots little, as it's light weight and splendid balance are a delight on rough terrain. But, when the opportunity to squeeze a round off presents itself, (as it did three times on the two hunts I managed to squeeze into the end of our NC season with this graceful double) Grouse can fall. One did.
