Product Overview

The Browning Maxus II All-Purpose Hunter is a gas-operated 12 Gauge semi-automatic shotgun designed for waterfowl, upland bird, and turkey hunting. Its 26-inch barrel uses a chrome-lined chamber and bore for enhanced durability and corrosion resistance, while the Mossy Oak Bottomland finish provides practical field camouflage. Oversized controls, a ramped trigger guard, and a lightweight magazine tube improve handling and operation. The composite stock combines a SoftFlex cheek pad, Inflex recoil pad, and rubber overmolding for shooting comfort and a secure grip. The receiver is drilled and tapped and includes a removable Picatinny rail for mounting an optic. An extended X-Full Turkey choke and three extended Invector-Plus choke tubes are included, along with an ABS hard case. The shotgun accepts 3 1/2-inch shotshells and has a 4+1 capacity with standard shells according to the supplied product configuration. The adjustable stock provides approximately 14 1/4 inches of length of pull and can be shimmed for fit customization. A crossbolt manual safety is fitted at the trigger guard.
