The Chiappa Firearms 1887 Rose Box Bootleg is a faithful reproduction of the first successful repeating shotgun design. Its lever-action system feeds from a tubular magazine and provides a five-plus-one capacity in 12 Gauge. The compact 18.5-inch barrel and 27.5-inch overall length give this shotgun a distinctive, maneuverable profile, while the hand-oiled walnut pistol-grip stock and forend complement its Color Case steel finish. Chambered for 2 3/4-inch shotshells, the 1887 uses a standard lever, single trigger, ejector extraction, and an internal safety system with a hammer half-cock position.
