Description
Product Overview
The Heritage Manufacturing Badlander is a compact 12 Gauge side-by-side shotgun built around a straightforward break-open design. Its two 18.5-inch steel barrels provide a handy profile for hunting, field carry, and close-range use, while the corrosion-resistant nickel finish protects the barrel and receiver surfaces. A brass bead front sight sits between the barrels for quick alignment. The fixed Turkish walnut stock adds a traditional appearance and a secure shoulder mount, and the tang-mounted manual safety provides convenient operation for either hand. The shotgun accepts 3-inch shells and holds two rounds.

When looking at side...
When looking at side by side double barrel shotguns. I compared this gun to the Stoeger. The Stoeger is much more bulky. This double barrel is more slender and weighs some what less. When you first attach the barrel, the break action is very stiff. I suggest putting some gun oil or WD40 on it when you attach it. Also, be careful about the wooden forearm falling off when you first attach the barrel. Overall, this is a nice shotgun at a reasonable price. JRJ
