The Howa Escort M87 Pump is a 12 Gauge hunting shotgun built for quick follow-up shots and reliable field performance. It features a 26 inch nickel-chrome moly lined barrel proofed for steel shot, along with a raised ventilated sight rib and a fiber optic sight to help with fast target acquisition. The receiver top is milled with a 3/8 inch dovetail for accessory sights, and the shotgun includes 3 interchangeable chokes for adaptable shot patterns. A Turkish walnut stock with a sling swivel stud rounds out the setup for everyday carry in the field.

The gun itself is very nice with a matte black finish, nice wood, and beautiful checkering. My only complaint is the brittleness of the finish. It has chipped in two places already from minor contact. This is more of a showpiece than a gun intended for tough use.

For the price, this...
For the price, this gun can't be beat! After a long time searching for reviews and not finding much, I took a chance amd made the purchase; I'm glad I did! The walnut is great and action is very smooth. Trigger pull is not overly heavy either and breaks consistently. Everything is tight, well put together, and balanced nicely. While there are visible machine marks internally, overall finish is very clean and well done. Zero issues so far after a box of 25 put through the tube amd looking forward to more when I can test out the included chokes. Bud's was great and shipping time was reasonable for my location. Very pleased with the entire experience and product. I would buy this gun again over the 2 "big ones" as well as use Bud's .
