This is one of my firsts is owning a Mossberg. I've heard horror stories and I've heard huge raves about them so, who do you trust or believe in this matter? Quick answer ,Yourself! When it showed up the box was covered in dust and both barrels looked like they had been rolled in cardboard dust as well. After getting what seemed like way to much factor oil off of the whole shotgun, I took it out and fire 20 rds of 00 buckshot and 20 slugs through each barrel. It fired just fine and the more I cycled the action the looser it felt. The scope I wasn't to sure about but I put it on paper and at 30 yards was knocking holes so can't complain! No deal breakers on this gun so far and I get two guns in one! Now for the fall turkey hunt to see how it fares in this Florida fall weather! 🙏 P.S It comes with two detachable cheek risers as well. The taller one is perfect for the slug barrel! 4 stars just because I don't give ANYTHING a 5 star approval or maybe because of how dirty it was too! 🤷♂️
