Product Overview
The Mossberg 500 Slug is a 12 Gauge pump-action hunting shotgun configured with a 24-inch rifled slug barrel and rifle sights. Its 3-inch chamber accommodates a broad range of shotshell and slug loads, while the six-round tubular magazine provides useful capacity in the field. The proven Mossberg 500 action uses dual action bars for smooth, reliable cycling, and the ambidextrous top-mounted safety works well for both right- and left-handed hunters. I purchased this slug...
I purchased this slug shotgun for deer hunting in Iowa. This is my third Mossberg shotgun and I am happy with the quality. My other Mossbergs are semi automatic and this is my first pump action Mossberg. The pump action feels a little loose but works great. The transaction with buds was great as always.
