Description
Product Overview
The Mossberg 500FS 12 Gauge pump-action shotgun combines the proven reliability of the Mossberg 500 platform with a 28-inch vent-rib barrel and a 3-inch chamber. Its 4+1 capacity supports practical field use, while the ambidextrous top-mounted manual safety offers convenient operation for both right- and left-handed shooters. A factory bead sight provides a clear, intuitive aiming reference, and the Mossy Oak Max-4 finish helps conceal the shotgun in wetland and field environments. The standard fixed stock provides a 14.25-inch length of pull for a familiar shoulder mount.

Excellent shotgun....
Excellent shotgun. Haven't had a chance to hunt with it yet but I took out some milk jugs and I like the fiber optic front sight. It is very light so I know I'll be able to carry it all day hunting. Also the ported choke tubes add some recoil reduction that is nice. This is a long 28" barrel and then the ported choke tube sticks out from there. My only complaint is that it doesn't fit in my gunsafe with the tube in. I have to take the choke tube out but that's only a very minor complaint. For $366, interchangable choke tubes (how many times can I write that in one review?), a great camo paint job, and Mossberg 500 performance. You can't go wrong.
