I wasnt sure when i...
I wasnt sure when i purchased this shotgun how well i was going to like the pistol grip but i tried anyway. It handles and shoulders well and pretty quick to fall in the "sweet spot" feeds and ejects as well as any moss 500. I now have grown to like the pistol grip. It does provide for easy and quick handling/aimimg and a rock solid grip. My one complaint is that its a little awkward reaching the tang safety while holding the grip, but not really a big deal since this isnt a self defense weapon. Changed out the supplied choke with a Kicks gobblin thunder .650 and WOW!! a serious turkey hunting weapon. 40 yards with 3.5" winchester long beard xr #5 shot. (The 535 has the winchester threads when selecting a choke) will remove the center of a paper plate. Its plenty light for "runnin' and gunnin'" but that light weight does come with some shoulder thumping recoil, but really no more than any syn stock 12 ga. Overall im very pleased with the gun and the great service from bud's. Would have rated 5 if not for the awkwarkness of reaching the safety.
