I picked up this...
I picked up this shotgun for 348$, which is an amazing price for this gun. Like other reviewers, I had some small spots of rust on the gun when I received it, and there was some extra flux on the welds. I took the transfer from the FFL anyway because the blemishes were minor. I took about 10 minutes to clean up the gun, there was no pitting or visible damage to the finish once I cleaned it off. I took the shotgun out of the box and put 60 rounds of buckshot and slugs through it without cleaning or lubricating it (this was before I cleaned the rust and flux off). I filled up the speed feed stock and left it full to see if any rounds would pop out on firing, no rounds popped out. The gun shot very well, and was a great deal. I would have been miffed about the fit and finish had I paid 600$ for the gun, but at my price it was acceptable. Mossberg could probably do some better QC, but overall I'd definitely purchase this gun again.
