A: Philip, this is the shotgun edition for left handed shooters with the ejection port on the left side of the receiver. I don't have any issues shooting with the speed stock either left or right hand as I am ambidextrous.

A: the only issue you will have shooting left handed with the right hand version of the 590a1 is that when you pump the gun the ejected shell will cross your line of vision (it bothers some people) . with the top tang safety operation is not a problem
