The Otus Arms SMX 12 Field Carbon Elite is an inertia-operated semi-automatic shotgun designed for dependable field use with a wide range of hunting loads. Its 28-inch chrome-lined 4140 steel smoothbore barrel is chambered for 3 1/2-inch shells and accepts 3-inch and 2 3/4-inch ammunition. Carbon fiber furniture keeps the shotgun light at 7.9 pounds, while the patented SHOCK FORCE recoil system helps reduce felt recoil during extended shooting sessions. The shotgun includes a 4+1 magazine tube, an oversized charging handle and bolt-release lever, a FIBERTRON LED fiber optic front sight, and three TITAN-X extended choke tubes.
