A: I just recently bought the Remington 1100 comp and the recoil system is super, shooting 12 ga loads was like shooting 410 loads in my o/u tube set. I have a Beretta 391 sporting and 5 Remington 1100s (including the 1100 comp) I also worked at a skeet range that had berettas and 1100s as rental guns and while the 1100s needed more frequent maintenance (cleaning and o rings) they were easier and less expensive to fix when they had problems. Remington would send us parts Beretta always wanted us to send in the gun. The only draw back (for me) with the Remington is that I could not get it with an 28 inch barrel and it does not come with a hard case like the berettas

A: David with the Nickel Teflon finish on receiver and all internal parts for smoother cycling this 1100 should be one of the most reliable and smoothest cycling shotguns ever. The Stock includes recoil reducing system and SuperCell recoil pad. With the adjustable comb and cast adjustment options and full set of five Briley (Target) Pro Bore Choke Tubes: skeet, improved cylinder, light modified, modified and full. it should be in the same ballpark as the Beretta at a much lower price.

I suggest that you click the notify me button and Buds will email you when they are available this in no way obligates you to purchase the item . A: Susan, I would keep it "Wish Listed" for notification but, I would check (6)un Broker, (6)uns America and Armslist as hard to find firearms and accessories show up for sale by private individuals and small shops. Just replace (6) with G.
