Love this version of...
Love this version of the 870. Mounted a Nikon Slug Hunter scope on it and went to work. Sighted it in at 50 yards using Remington Accutips. I could groups slugs on top of each other at that distance. Backed up to 100 and did the same thing. I did install the Remington Competition sear spring in mine and it made the trigger very nice. Also got rid of the OEM stock and action for the Remington Shureshot stock and pump action. Both installed with no problems. Shotgun does so well with Accutips I ordered 8 boxes for it. I tried the Hornady SST and though they do ok, I could not get them to group well at all. For deer they'll be fine, but I like to get the best possible groups out of anything I own. Overall great gun, as always Buds made the purchase easy and for a smooth transaction.
