This was my second...
This was my second walnut field V3 (the other a 26") and I love both of them. They have been through 5 seasons of pheasant hunts, and trap shooting during the off-seasons, without a single jam, misfire or problem. The only repair was a replacement of the fore end of one that got cracked by an accidental drop. They certainly have a lot more parts to clean than my Wingmaster, but their ease of use in the field makes up for it. Both the gun and Bud's service and pricing have been a delight.

What a great shotgun....
What a great shotgun. I have probably put over 1,000 rounds thru this gun in two months. Never a jam. It is a very, very light recoil, more like a push than a punch. After 50 or so rounds of heavier loads, I now only shoot light loads, probably around 1,100 or 1,075 fps. It cycles them great. I have been busting clays like crazy. Someone mentioned the hand guard has two holes that have been covered. At first I thought the same, but it is a brass pin that goes thru the hand guard, making it stronger. It has no gaskets that will have to be replaced (none that I have found). The walnut is nice. Not drop dead gorgeous, but nice. It is easy to clean. It fits great, but do wish it came with shims. To me, it fits like a Remington 870, which I like. I would estimate that the recoil is 50% or less of an 870. I was also looking at Beretta, Benelli, and Browning but decided on this shotgun (for almost 1/2 the price). I am glad I did. I think Remington has a BIG winner.

Nice handling 12 ga....
Nice handling 12 ga. Much softer shooting that my Maxus. Wood nice, but not quite as nice as an 11-87. Great value with the price point. Performed flawlessly on the first 2 boxes of shells.
