The Retay Gordion Upland is a lightweight 12 Gauge semi-automatic shotgun designed for upland hunting. Its Inertia Plus action uses a rotating bolt to maintain secure chamber lockup and dependable cycling. The 26-inch Mara barrel features an 8mm vented sight rib, a TruGlo front bead, and five interchangeable MaraPro choke tubes for tailoring shot patterns to the hunt. A Turkish walnut stock gives the shotgun a traditional field appearance, while the cross-bolt manual safety and removable trigger group provide practical controls for the field and for maintenance. The package includes a fitted MegaLine ABS hard case, stock-fit adjustment shims, sling swivels, and gun oil.

I'm very pleased. The gun looks great and fit the way I'd hoped it would. I took it to the trap range the day after picking it up from my FFL. 1st round I broke 23 in a row, the 2nd round I broke 19 in a row. That's not typical for me. The real test will come this Fall on Maine Woodcock and Grouse. Then Connecticut Pheasant. I'm hoping to avoid those looks my dog gives me when I miss a bird.

This gun is great....
This gun is great. Cycles all of the ammo I've put through it no problem, even the light target loads. The furniture looks to be pretty high end and I love the thin forend. The gun is very nicely balanced and swings great. It reminds me of my friends Montefeltro, but at roughly half the price.
