Very Nice Shotgun....
Very Nice Shotgun. I've only been able to put a few shells through it so far but I'm already impressed. This shotgun puts the pattern where it's pointed, unlike a lot of other guns. I took it to the range to do some pattern testing of waterfowl loads. When placed in a rest and aimed like a rifle, it places the pattern even on the horizontal and just a little high. Most of the pattern struck the target about 3 or 4 inches high when the bead was held at 6 o'clock of center. For me this is ideal, the comb of the stock can be lowered, to drop the pattern with the included shim kit, if needed. Most of the patterns had even dispersion in a 30 inch circle at 40 yds. I shot a few 1 1/8 oz game loads through it before I shot the waterfowl loads. On the 4th shot, with 1 1/8 oz loads, I had one failure to feed, but this is a 3.5 inch gun, so I was not real surprised. I suspect that the gun needs a break-in period before it will cycle the lighter loads consistently. The fit and finish of this shotgun is very nice, I think you will like it.
