Purchased the Rossi...
Purchased the Rossi single shot 20g for my 5 year old son. I chose the 20g because it will serve us better than the 410. This gun is nothing fancy but for the price can't be beat. LOP isn't listed but this one is 13" which is a little long for a 5 year old. He's shot it with 20g field/game loads and with 410s using a gauge adaptor. He likes the 410s better but give him a few weeks and he'll be shooting 20s only.

The first 4-5 shots...
The first 4-5 shots the firing pin wouldn't hit the primer. Cleaned, then it began working only to find out this thing kicks like a mule ,even with low brass bird shot. Then had trouble getting it to eject the spent shells. I bought this for my 8 yr old son to learn on but it's just too much recoil for a little guy. Not very pleased with this gun so far! Will definitely have to have a recoil pad for him to be able to shoot gun.
