I'm very pleased with my new purchase of the Savage 220 slug gun. The process of buying, shipping and pick up at my local FFL dealer was a breeze. The gun itself is an outstanding piece of equipment. I have a Savage 110 30-06 and see that the 220 is based on my rifle. It was so easy to become familiar with the 220 as a result. A big improvement from my 110 I purchased years ago is the accu-stock configuration. Being able to adjusting the stock in such a simple way to make it a custom fit was a selling feature to me. Just fantastic. I bought the Bud's package with sight and sling. I was able to zero in the gun at 30 yards with my laser bore sighter. It was 1 MOA up, 3 1/4 turns left. It was that simple. Sight to rail was so well fitted at Bud's. Extra padding at the rear of the stock was a big plus, too. And I like the sturdy bolt release is by the trigger guard and not up on the receiver because it makes disassembly so much easier. The whole package is just a beautiful piece of equipment. Love this slug gun! Can't wait for deer season!
