This is not stamped...
This is not stamped for .45 Long Colt on the barrel. Shooting .45 Long Colt in a smooth bore is something between a gimmick and a joke anyway. I like the Thumbhole stock; very similar to a Remington ShurShot and H&R Handi Grip Stocks. I don't use the safety it seems strange that it only works when hammer is cocked. On a single action it seems less safe than nothing. But, it does have a transfer bar safety. A big con to me is it's made in China. However, it is less than half the price of any other .410 with removable chokes. Locks up tight, strong shell ejection, and a 26" barrel are all positives to me. The finish seems cheap but totally acceptable for a budget shotgun. The front bead sits up on a ramp so you can use the removable rail as sort of a rear sight. The only thing I am worried about is the forearm, I just don't think the push pin notch riding in plastic would survive abuse or constantly breaking the gun down in two pieces. But, with the 26" barrel, I plan on keeping this .410 in one piece. Shoots point on, have not patterned, but suspect it's 70/30 high with 6 birdshot, your results will vary.
