I recieved my Stoeger...
I recieved my Stoeger M3020 with high expectations of a handy, reliable 20 gauge based on Benelli's incredible inertia action. What I got was the most expensive semi-automatic "single" shot shotgun I've ever owned. The unit would only cycle duck and 3" loads reliably. Any factory ammo designed for skeet or sporting clays would "not" cycle. I am talking about 7/8 ounce 2 1/2 dram factory loads going about 1200 fps. I cleaned the shotgun well and tried 3 different times. Nothing, jam after jam after jam. I ended up sending it back to Benelli's repair shop in Maryland TWICE! The shotgun was out of my hands for the better part of month. It now operates well with target loads. I feel that new guns should not be have be "fixed" before they work. Again in this case twice. Having said that I really like the shotgun now after using it for dove hunting and sporting clays matches. Should you buy one? Don't know. There was some frustration here. I personally will not be buying another Stoeger semi-auto.

New to Bud's, but very pleased with the service. My Stoeger .20 ga M3020 was promptly shipped to a local FFL shop for an easy pickup after paying a small transfer fee. The gun arrived in excellent condition. Would definitely utilize Bud's Gunshop again without hesitation. \r JMC, Columbus, GA\r
