This is a great shotgun! It is a great price! It is NOT a "great shotgun for the price," it is a great shotgun no matter what you pay for it. I highly recommend Buds excellent service and this product. If you are going to buy it, buy it from BUDS!!! You need a shotgun, what are you waiting for? Buy it, you'll love it! I bought this some...
I bought this some time back for a goose gun and it's been great!! Shoots straight and for the price it's a good quality, takes a little to break in and use some good grease on the moving parts and a little polishing it works great. The extended chokes work good and pattern well with most ammo I've used so far.

Not bad for the money....
Not bad for the money. I can say Stoeger has continued in a downhill direction. The safety is gritty and almost feels two stage. The finish in the wood was nice bluing was acceptable at best. Fit and finish on this particular one was not up to par compared to other Stoeger Doubles I own.
