Ordered on Saturday...
Ordered on Saturday evening, got to my FFl on Wednesday. great shipping. The shotgun is almost an exact duplicate of the H&R excell auto that I bought 8 or 9 years ago, came with sling swivels on cap and butt stock, and 5 choke tubes just like the description states, the tubes are ben/berr mobil threads. the shotgun is light, well made, and the inside of the barrel looks like a mirror as is, straight from the factory. the bolt is even the same brown \\ plum color as my excel. I would give 5 stars except the item description states "Receiver Description:Steel". its not. I researched this shotgun for a few weeks, reading all kinds of descriptions, just by searching sx1228. some webpages noted steel receiver, some noted alloy. the sarsilmaz website (searching sax-700) made no mention of a steel receiver either. I kind of figured this was a typo, or a translation thing. To me, no big deal, was hoping for a steel receiver, but I really didn't think a SA-X700 steel receiver gun existed in the first place. Still, for the money, and the couple of extra bucks for a lifetime warranty from buds, this shotgun is a steel. pun intended. Roland
