Product Overview
The TriStar Viper G2 is a gas-operated semi-automatic 12 Gauge shotgun configured with a 26-inch chrome-lined vent-rib barrel and a 3-inch chamber. Its synthetic stock and forend use Soft Touch textured gripping surfaces for improved control in the field. A matted sight plane and fiber-optic front sight provide a practical aiming system, while the five-round tubular magazine includes a shot plug for hunting compliance. The manual E-Z Load magazine cut-off allows quick unloading and added handling control. Beretta Mobilchoke tubes in Improved Cylinder, Modified, and Full are included for adapting the pattern to different loads and hunting applications.

Flawless performance...
Flawless performance right out of the box. I ran a box of light target loads through it without oiling or cleaning it, and it performed without even one malfunction. I then fired 5 3" magnum turkey loads as fast as I could pull the trigger. Again, no hiccups at all. Fit and finish were better than I expected. I don't know how well it will be for long term durability, but it appears to be as well made as any of the Mossbergs I've owned or still own. I am very pleased with this purchase and couldn't ask any more. Transaction with Bud's was seamless as usual with them. Great folks.

This is an excellent value semi-automatic shotgun for the money. Fit and finish is exceptional and aftermarket support is decent. Planning on adding a magazine extension very soon. Liked this model so much that I also ordered the Red 30" version.
