The Tristar Arms Viper G2 is a semi-automatic hunting shotgun chambered in 20 Gauge with a 3-inch chamber. It combines a silver-finish receiver and blued 26-inch barrel with a traditional walnut stock and forearm. The chrome-lined chamber and barrel are designed for durability and easier cleaning, while the fiber optic front sight helps maintain a clear aiming reference in varied field conditions. A manual E-Z Load magazine cut-off adds convenience during unloading and loading, and the tubular magazine provides a 5+1 capacity in its standard configuration. Three Beretta-style choke tubes are included: Improved Cylinder, Modified, and Full.

The G2 Silver in 20ga...
The G2 Silver in 20ga was delivered as promised. The workmanship was good on the firearm. I found no flaws. The wood is very pretty. The action is clean but stiff out of the box. I cleaned, lubed, and reassembled the gun with ease. I have not shot the new gun yet, but I see no reason it should not function as planned. The only negative point I could make is that the bolt release button works, but is pretty hard to push. I have emailed Tristar to see if the extended bolt release that comes on the sporting models is available for this gun. If you would like an economical alternative to something like a Beretta A400, then the G2 might just suit your needs. The function is very similar.
