The Tristar Arms Viper G2 is a gas-operated semi-automatic 12 Gauge shotgun configured with a 26-inch chrome-lined barrel and a 3-inch chamber. Its gas system is designed to cycle a broad range of loads, from light target ammunition to heavier waterfowl loads. A Turkish Walnut stock and forearm with cut checkering provide a secure, comfortable grip, while the semi-gloss wood finish complements the black receiver and barrel. The vent rib, matted sight plane, and fiber optic sight support fast aiming in the field. The shotgun includes improved cylinder, modified, and full Beretta-style Mobile choke tubes, along with a choke wrench and case. Its tubular bottom-loading magazine holds 4+1 rounds with the included shot plug installed. A manual magazine cut-off, recoil pad, and bolt hold-open feature add practical field functionality.

I purchased the...
I purchased the TriStar Viper 12 Ga on April 17.2019. I have not used it in a hunting situation yet, but I have shot it several times with magnum 3in shells and 2 3/4 shells. I find the recoil to be very light. As far as looks, it is hard to find any thing negative to say. The gun has a beautiful blue finish on the metal and a semi gloss finish on the wood which is walnut. It came with 5 choke tubes that go from full choke to cylinder bore. When I compare it with my Remington 1100s it looks just as good as they do, and the bonus is, it is lighter. The bottom line for me is that at 467.00 it is a terrific value. You can't go wrong with the TriStar Viper.
