A: The only location I could find was Paso Robles, California. That is on the barrel. Their list of owners manuals show a lot of firearms made in other countries, but not this one.

A: Kirk, no, this is not drilled and tapped in order to mount an optic. You can take this to a qualified gunsmith and they could drill and tap it for you. There's also likely some type of mount you could purchase separately to mount one. Sorry but hope this helps.
