The Weatherby SA-08 is a lightweight 20 Gauge semi-automatic hunting shotgun designed to handle a broad range of field loads. Its unique dual-valve system reliably cycles light 7/8-ounce ammunition as well as heavy 3-inch loads, making it adaptable for upland hunting, clay shooting, and waterfowl use. The 26-inch chrome-lined vent rib barrel features a Black Matte finish and is paired with an Integral Multi-Choke System containing Improved Cylinder, Modified, and Full choke tubes. A CNC-machined aircraft-grade alloy receiver helps reduce weight, while the injection-molded synthetic stock and forend provide durable field performance. The shotgun also features a chrome-plated bolt, drop-out trigger system, fixed stock, and bead front sight.

I've only shot 3 boxes...
I've only shot 3 boxes of ammo in this gun so far, but it has definitely lived up to its great reviews. Just picking it up for the first time I felt the machining was excellent. It points great, shoots accurately and, after 3 consecutive rounds of skeet, I found the found recoil to be negligible. Already looking forward to shooting doves with it this fall.

Bought this before...
Bought this before dove season in 2014. Bud's was great to work with and got gun in timely fashion. Got gun home and took it down and did basic clean and lube, paying careful attention to recommendations/instructions that came with gun. Took it out a week later for some practice and it was excellent. The gun patterned beautifully with Winchester and Federal dove loads at 25 yards. Very easy to blow through 50 rounds in no time with so little recoil. Have taken to range a few times and dove hunting a few times last season, no issues except it did FTF once which was my fault for not properly loading the tube. An excellent gun for the money, would be a great gun for the women or young shooters out there since so pleasant to shoot. Would highly recommend.
