The recoil pad was...
The recoil pad was loose at the toe due to defective attachment. Trigger pull was excessive. Gun weighted 1/4 pound more than Winchester said. Pull was a little long and the stock could only be cut 1/4" if you wanted to shorten it. Bud's was great about taking it back.
