I wanted a pump for...
I wanted a pump for clays and slug target shooting (I don't hunt), and I am very happy with this shotgun. I shot a variety of loads ranging from bird shot to slugs in different brands, and almost everything cycled ok except for Stars and Stripes 00 buck. I think they are a little long, but I will give them another try. \\r\ \\r\ This did not cycle short shells, like Aguila Mini Shells or Federal Shorties. I don't think any other shotguns do either, unless you put an adaptor on a Mossberg pump.\\r\ The recoil was very comfortable compared to other pumps I have owned. \\r\ The slide release is not as easy to access as the Mossberg's, but it's ok. The slide action is very smooth. \\r\ The Mossberg tang safety is better but I don't use the safety very often.\\r\ \\r\ Overall I am happy with this shotgun.
