Bought this for my wife because she can't handle my Mossberg 590 pump or the 930 JM PRO . I already own 5 Turkish made pistols from SAR, and they're all excellent firearms, so I figured I'd take a gamble on one of these Turkish made shotguns. We took it out and put 25 rounds of cheap buck shot through it, and it performed great. The recoil was light enough so that my wife didn't fear shooting it, and it seemed to cycle really well. If my wife finds herself alone at home, and needs to defend herself, I think she would feel confident enough to use the Churchill 220 to defend herself. The shotgun itself overall is pretty vanilla, but the fit, finish and function all seem to good, and it's also relatively light. I think a lot of people don't understand semi-autos, at the very least, they need high brass loads in order to cycle properly. Especially if the shooter is a petite female who lacks upper body strength to absorb some of the recoil in order for the firearm to cycle properly. I think the Churchill 220 is a great home defense tool, and is a great inexpensive alternative to many of the more expensive options out there.
