The Escort SDX is a gas-operated 12 Gauge tactical shotgun built for reliable operation and practical handling. Its 18-inch chrome-plated steel barrel is paired with an alloy upper receiver, synthetic lower receiver, alloy handguard, and ThermoDefend synthetic forend. The shotgun accepts 3-inch shells and feeds from detachable 5-round magazines, with two 5-round magazines and a 2-round magazine that stores in the stock included. An adjustable front sight and detachable carry handle with rear sight provide a durable sighting system, while the rubber recoil pad helps make extended use more comfortable. The FDE/Tan finish gives this semi-automatic shotgun a practical tactical appearance.
