A: James, yes. This shotgun has a grooved fore-end with sling swivel studs installed. Comes in 12 gauge with a 2 ¾" and 3" chamber.

A: Mine came with sling swivel studs front and rear. Was very happy about this since the pictures did not show any. So the short answer is yes. But I have heard some received theirs with swivels included in the box, but not installed.

A: Yes. You will get the best accuracy with standard slugs by removing the "Modified Screw-In Choke" this shotgun comes with. It is widely known that "Rifled" slugs can be fired through any choke, but Improved Cylinder is recommended for best results.

A: Yes you can use slugs as to what choke tube to use the only real way to know is to try the slugs you want to use with each choke tube and see which give you the best accuracy

A: Hi Natanael, this is not normal especially on a pump shotgun. I would not take the chance of voiding your warranty and contact H&R Customer Service for advice/resolution at Phone: (866) 776-9292.

A: Make sure you are firmly racking the slide especially if you are new to working a pump action. Also make sure the chamber is clean and has no protectant left over from shipping which can get sticky. I take my pumps and just work the action (sitting and watching tv NO AMMO hold/push the release ) until the get smooth and work easy if these do not help contact H&R at Phone: (866) 776-9292.
