Its 7075 aluminum upper receiver and reinforced polymer lower receiver provide a durable, lightweight platform measuring just 30 inches overall. The 18.5-inch barrel and 3-inch chamber support a broad range of compatible shotshell loads, while the bullpup layout keeps the action behind the trigger for improved balance in tight spaces. The EGX500 includes a crisp fire control system with a short reset, an enlarged trigger guard, standard factory sights, and an optics-ready mounting rail. This configuration is supplied without the push/pull gas regulation system shown in the stock image.
