Leaving 4 stars not because of functionality or business with Buds. I'm leaving a 4 star review souly because of how crappy the finish is on these 870s. It's a cheap matte black finish and it rusts if you look at it the wrong way. I keep my firearms tucked away in a gun-safe where there's no humidity. The MOMENT you get that shotgun out you'll have to apply a light coat of oil or it WILL develop surface rust. Other than that you get what you pay for and it works as intended.

The Remington 870 Wood...
The Remington 870 Wood Home Defense is a very nice shotgun. I bought it for home defense and purchased a Carlson 28 inch barrel so I could also use it for a field gun and occasional clay target gun. I'm very satisfied with the quality and my experience with Buds Gunshop.
